BRIDGE COTTAGE directly overlooks the River Greta
and the Lattrigg woodland. You can walk from the door straight onto Lattrigg Fell and continue onto Skiddaw and Blencathra Mountains.
If you keep your eyes open, red squirrels will pass your front door and feed below the window.
There is abundant bird life; Jay, Woodpecker, Heron and Kingfisher flash by on the river.
The River Greta is a salmon and trout fishing river. There are badger and deer in the Lattrigg woodland and the osprey nest three or four miles out of Keswick along Bassenthwaite Lake.
For restaurants, theatre, cinema, good pubs and shops, the town of Keswick is just a mile away from BRIDGE COTTAGE. Approximately fifteen minutes walk. Taxis into town are normally quick and efficient.
